I love making sugar cookies. Honestly, I make them for Halloween,Thanksgiving,Christmas and Easter. Without fail and deliver them to my neighbors. I find fun cookie-cutters and let the kids decorate them.

2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cup sour cream
6 cup flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
I use my KITCHEN AID mixer (30% off right now) to cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs, vanilla, sour cream and mix until everything is combined.
Slowly add flour, baking powder and baking soda
Bake 350 7-9 minutes. (Put dough in the fridge for an hour before rolling out and baking)
Homemade Cream Cheese Frosting (most important part!!) YUMMIEST FROSTING
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter
16 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup heavy cream
I use my kitchen aid hand mixer ( 15% off) to mix it all together until fluffy!
