I am Ashley Cooper. I reside in Mesa, Arizona where I am the wife of Logan Cooper, the cutest guy I know, who is always making me laugh. I am also a mother of two, to our son Dylan, who is 3 ½ and our daughter, Stella who is 1 ½. My kids are the sweetest little things and they have their dad’s smile, and my quick whit. They are both completely special, lovely and they have the perfect personalities.

I have been lucky enough to have had some great design opportunities while I was in school and now as a recent graduate. While in school, I was the recipient of a scholarship through Phoenix Fashion Week for a t-shirt design I created of a fashion illustration. I was also a finalist in a design contest for Aquafina and Project Runway for another fashion illustration I created. In February I was flown back to NYC ℅ Aquafina for 4 days and competed in a one hour live design competition. I also currently have my “Kim” fabric featured in the recent Spring/Summer 2013 issue of Weddings Illustrated.

Currently, I am an intern turned employee to the ultra talented fabric and lifestyle designer, Heather Bailey.

So, I am so pleased to announce the launch of my new website and expansion of my brand here on Lunchpails and Lipstick. I have created original fashion illustration artwork and original typography prints that you can now purchased to keep, gift, display, treasure and love on my website at AshleyCooperDesign.com. My fashion illustrations are infused with classic elements mixed with modern style. My typography prints are bold and modern in style but heartwarming, sweet or funny in word. All the typography phrases or sayings are personal to me because they are all things my children and I say to one another or things my husband and I say to each other.

People ask me how I balance such a jam packed schedule filled with to-do lists, work obligations, designing and being a mom. I tell them simply, we just make it work! When my husband and I are home we spend lots of time with our children, we go outside with them a lot, we laugh, we blast the music and dance together, read stories, we snuggle and watch movies together, we kiss and hug, A LOT. We also have great family support system and equally great neighbors and friends. Our laundry is usually pilling up (with clean clothes of course), my windows are usually smudged with little tiny handprints, my bedsheets often have toys left in them, but I believe when you work hard and laugh (a lot) everything is better and everyone around you is usually happier, too!
