I love this “it bag” even more after meeting this wonderful lady. Julie Deane started The Cambridge Satchel Company about five years ago. Determination has been the fire behind her successful multi-million dollar company.
A determined mother will do whatever it takes to keep her kids safe and happy. Julie realized that her 6 year old daughter was acting different at home. She discovered that her daughter was bullied at school. She was determined to make enough money to move away and place her daughter in a different school. This meant coming up with finances to make this possible. She needed a plan! Julie loved her satchel growing up and couldn’t find anything like it for her daughter. That’s when she discovered her idea to make a satchel for modern times. Five years later her satchels are sold everywhere and have made a huge mark in the fashion world.
In honor of this wonderful role model and must have satchel, L&L will be giving away a Cambridge Satchel. Winner will be announced on Thanksgiving.

I did all but the Twitter! I don’t use twitter! This is such a neat story! We recently had an issue with bullying at my daughters school! It’s such a horrible thing for a child to deal with!
