Wellness Wednesday: 5 Tips for Summer Wellness

Now that summer is in full swing, I know it can be hard to carve out some much needed time for yourself. Here are 5 tips to help.

Here are 5 tips to help with the change that summer can bring.

First, Schedule YOU time. I use the mornings for this. Bedtime routines have disappeared overnight and everyone is staying up so much later. Make use of those quiet moments when you get them. Take time to meditate and plan out your intentions for the day. Trust me it makes a huge difference.

Second, Spend time outside. This may sound like a no brainer but really, going outside is so healing and grounding. Vitamin D is a huge mood boaster and an easy way to spend time with the family without screens.


Third, Exercise. Don’t let the crazy summer days get too busy where you forget about you and your goals. I especially love The Lean Body System right now to help keep me focused and motivated. Fourth, Sleep. Make sure you are still getting enough sleep. Vacations, traveling and everything else that comes with a fun summer always cuts into healthy sleeping patters. I try and remember that your body needs sleep. This is when it goes to work and can help with weight loss, digestion, and repair.

Fifth, Eat Right. Go and get all the fresh fruits and Veggies. Find a farmers market and go regularly. My trick is to leave it out. Don’t put it in the fridge. GO buy a big bowl like this one and leave it out. Everyone will eat so much more. I also make sure I am up on my Collagen. I have been addicted to Liquid Collagen for almost a year now and I will never not take it.

Here is what I take.

2 Tablespoons a day.

– 2 T of Pure

OR if I am on TRIM

-1 T Trim and 1 T Pure.
