time is running out + 3 things on my mind…

The temperature dropped here in California last week and has continued. I secretly love it, even though Californians are supposed to be bummed when it gets below 70. Since we had a few cool days I found my excuse to wear this Amuse faux fur jacket (more sizes HERE) I love so much! Paired with a white tee, denim and my trusty Van’s I was more than ready for some holiday shopping!

3 things on my mind…

1. The kids left for Arizona Sunday. They will be back on Christmas Eve. I dread this week each year. Usually it’s the week after Christmas till the New Year. Regardless of the when they go I miss having them here. Often people say how lucky I am to have a break or how nice that must be to be alone with Jeff for an entire week. It is nice. But I worry so much about them while they are away and forget to enjoy myself. I’m working on it.

2.When you ask your husband what he wants for Christmas and he fills the Amazon cart with stain, oil, glue, bits, tools and blades..you know you’re married to a woodworker.

3. I recently saw that Natalie Portman wore these Steve Madden heels I posted about HERE to the Critics Choice Awards. Good call Natalie! For real, these can be worn to any event, even a star studded one!
