1.Hello, I am thinking about starting a blog. Do you have any tips for beginners?! Thank You.

Hi! Congrats on starting a blog. It can be very overwhelming in the beginning as you decide on how to start this process. Just make sure you aren’t doing this for money! It can take up to 2-3 years to start making good money off your website. (enough money to quit your day job) You need to be consistent. Make a few themed posts that your audience can count on weekly. They will come back! For example, I do FRIDAY 5’s. This is always my biggest post of the week and requires the least amount of effort on my part. But it’s consistent and my audience really likes to count on it.

Post on your website every single day to drive traffic. Consistency is the key in this business. If you need more post ideas, host a giveaway! In the beginning I hosted a bunch of giveaways. Almost every single week! This helps connect with more people and it brings more traffic to your website. Also, make sure and set up an area for people to subscribe and leave their emails. This is so important for sending out content to readers. If you are going to be a fashion blogger, sign up with ShopStyle or Reward Style to make commission off your links. Amazon also has an affiliate program for bloggers. Take the time to create good content!! Once I hired a professional photographer to help me with my pictures, my blog started to grow bigger. Brands and designers re-gram bloggers and this is a great way to grow. Most importantly, have fun. Write for yourself and be true to yourself. Don’t compare yourself to other bloggers. There is always someone bigger than you and always someone smaller. Appreciate where YOU are in this journey. Comparison will rob you of all the joy in this. Be kind and connect as much as you can with your audience.

2.Hello who does your BLONDE HAIR and what products do you use to STYLE it?

I see Liz at Salon O. She is amazing. I tried so many people in NYC and the color was always a little gold or super brassy.

I use this INVISIBLE HAIR OIL when my hair is wet. Add about a quarter size into your hair. It will help blow dry the frizz out and keep it smooth.

After I use the oil I spray this HEAT PROTECT SPRAY. (smells divine)

Then I use this CURLING IRON which my stylist turned me onto. It’s amazing.

For my BANGS I use this ROUND BRUSH.

3.I need a good basic grey layering shirt. Maybe a bodysuit,or something that fits that way. Do you have any suggestions?

I love this GREY BODYSUIT HENLEY TEE

4.Where is the I-PHONE HOLDER from that hangs as CROSS BODY CASE?

I love this I-PHONE CARRYING CASE. Never lose your phone again!

5.Question about your ECHO SHOW…do you have a case on it?? We have one too..love it, but yours looks like it’s rose gold on the outside?

It doesn’t have a case. It’s the WHITE ONE we have.

6.Where did your husband get the RULER BOARD to measure your kids’ height?

He bought it from KEEPSAKE RULERS  and it was such a fun gift for the kids! My in-laws have one at their house that has all our kids height from when they were toddlers. We are going to have to transfer it all. It’s fun to watch them grow.

7.I’m headed out on a SUNNY TRIP for spring break next month. Do you recommend any products for me to take? Also a SUNLESS TANNER?

Yes! I actually did a big TRAVEL/BEAUTY post on this last week. It’s been the most popular post this month so check it out!

8.After being pregnant and then nursing for a year I can finally put whatever I want on my skin. Ha! I’m dealing with hormonal acne right now. What’s your favorite all time is retinol product. I figured that would be best unless you recommend something else.

I loved being able to use products again after pregnancy. I totally get it! I would use these products —

RETINOL MAX STRENGTH  | BLEMISH & AGE DEFENSE (this is incredible!)

9.Do you have a favorite pair of Men’s shoes?

Casual I like and prefer Nike on Men.

Dressy Men’s shoes I like Ferragomo.

10.Are you and your husband both from Arizona? What part are you from?

Yep! We both grew up here. I actually am one year older than him. We even went to the same high school (Mt.View) We didn’t meet until college! We lived maybe 5 minutes down the street from each other. He even lived across the street from my best friend Summer. It’s so funny how we were meant to be but we weren’t supposed to meet until college.
