SEA + 3 things on my mind…

Have you heard of the clothing line, Sea? Oh my gosh, it’s so pretty! The fabrics and details are something special. I grabbed this top during the Shopbop savings event and now it’s almost sold out..wah wah. I just put this top and dress in my shopping bag, trying to decide which one I’m loving most. Also, can we talk about my Free People sandals? You guys, I’ve tried to order these 3 times in this past year and every time they sell out. Free People must have got the hint from popular demand and made enough for their site as well as Nordstrom. I am obsessed with mine! SEA Shopbop

1. I’ve got a thing for BITE lips products. I posted about the lip mask on Friday 5 and now I’m letting you know how good the color Violet is in their crayon. Wearing it now as I type. Stays on, but not very matte and not drying at all. It’s good!

2. We have a beehive right outside my bedroom window. I hear buzzing when I sleep and sometimes they creep in through the fireplace. I’m terrified of them. We also just planted a serious garden. Jeff doesn’t fear bees at all and is in no hurry to remove that damn hive. He says it’s great for the garden…

3.   I received news over the weekend that a couple I was great friends with 10 years ago died in a plane crash, leaving their 4 children without parents. The news hit me, hard. I was really close with the wife and when I was going through something major with my now ex husband, I felt betrayed by her. Since then she apologized and I accepted it, moved on, but kept I my distance from that friendship. Not because I didn’t care about her, but more just to remove myself from those negative feelings. She went out of her way to try and mend things fully with calls, texts and most recently to congratulate me on my marriage to Jeff. I guess what I’m saying is maybe I didn’t fully forgive or I would have embraced those efforts focusing on the great friendship we once shared. It took tragedy to recognize how lame that was on my part. I feel foolish. Lesson learned the hard way.
