platforms for the WIN

If you have followed this blog for awhile then you know how much I LOVE these jeans. I wore them so much on my trip to Dallas I came home and ordered another pair. They are comfortable, they move with your body, they have a bit of stretch and the wash is perfection. They aren’t as expensive as most designer jeans so keep that in mind when you are deciding on a new pair of amazing jeans!

I really love keeping my outfits basic during the week and adding one or two new pieces to mix it up. I’ve had this button down white top from free people for 2 years. It’s cotton and feels just like a cozy tee-shirt. When I got these platforms by Rebecca Minkoff I knew I wanted to wear them with this top. When I wear statement shoes I keep my outfit pretty basic. Especially since I’m with my kids all day.

ps. how great is this white studded purse!

  1. Your hair looks so cute like that! I have long blonde hair also and feel like I get in a rut with it. What a fun simple idea. Your outfit is adorable too:) Happy weekend!

    • THANK YOU! So nice of you. If you come up with new styles for your hair let me know!

  2. Hi there!

What size are you wearing in the shirt? I struggle with knowing my size at FP. This looks like a great fit on you but looks huge on their site. Do you typically order your usual size or size down. Love your site and thank you for all of the style inspiration!

  3. thank you for saying! You should def try some on and see if you feel comfortable. 6’0 would be my dream come true, you can rock it!

  4. I really love platforms, and they look amazing on you! But, I am 5’7 and a little hesitant to buy a pair or two. I would be like 5’11 or 6’0. I love the trend, but I will have to try on a pair or two first.

    You look stunning btw!
