MESSY HAIR WAVES

To achieve the best messy waves, start with dirty hair! I like to do mine on day 2 or 3, but if I just washed it and still want to get the dirty/ lived in hair look I’ll add THIS to my hair as I dry it. Don’t go crazy, about a quarter size for all of it. Then blow-dry as usual. I love THIS T3 DRYER and also THIS one from DRYBAR. Both equally great. I happen to have both from working with these companies and can’t ever decide on a first place winner.

I’ve mentioned before how much I love this DRY SHAMPOO and this DRY TEXTURIZING SPRAY. If you buy one product, let it be THIS. Total game changer and the smell is incredible! I add both to my roots starting with the dry shampoo. Once that dries I’ll add some texture spray.

Next, I like to section my hair off into 4 sections and curl everything away from my face using this 1.5 IRON. I always always always hold my curling iron wand straight up and down! After each section is finished, let your hair cool down and then finger comb, making sure to shake up your roots for volume.

Guess what? I use two irons..I think the best way to get a messy look is by using a SMALLER WAND and taking small sections and curling each piece different after you’ve curled your whole head with the 1.5 inch. So that means curl some pieces toward your face and some away from your face. This is what will make your waves look messy.

Up next, more DRY TEXTURIZING SPRAY. I don’t skimp on this product, just keep spraying. Then shake up your hair once more and that’s it! You may want to keep the small wand plugged in and touch up any areas that need a little more curl. I don’t use hairspray, but I like to add some shine spray at the end and I love THIS ONE!

When styling BANGS when hair is dirty, I use this  to go over them with a quick 10 second blow dry. You might need a little water spray to get them back in shape. But it’s quick and fast. Then add  DRY TEXTURIZING SPRAY. You want them to have texture!

Tip: Add DRY SHAMPOO to your roots at night and secure your hair up in a very loose bun with a bobby pin. The next day, release your bun and shake your hair out. This will help maintain another 1-2 days of styled hair before you need to wash again. Let me know if you have any questions! I’m here to help and I swear a video is in the works!

Right out of the shower I use a LITTLE HAIR OIL to smooth out tanlges and I’ll add THIS to my hair as I dry it. Don’t go crazy, about a quarter size for all of it. Then blow-dry as usual. Out of the shower I immediately put my wet hair in this HAIR TOWEL is genius! Cuts down on dry time and make your hair healthier at the same time. Dries hair 5 times faster than cotton towels. I’m hooked. When drying and styling BANGS, I use this when I blow dry them and finish with DRY TEXTURIZING SPRAY. You want them to have texture! Then start with the above steps to make your hair a little dirty and messy.
