3 things on my mind…

1. Remember last week I said how excited/nervous I was for Fuller House? The kids and I sat down to watch it and not even 2 episodes in I turned it off. Why? I think they made it for us, the adults. The then kids that were glued to our televisions every Friday night. Not for our children who watch reruns on Netflix any time of any day. Stephanie’s cleavage spilling out, vodka shots, sexual innuendos..not for little kids. At least not for my kids. All that aside, I cried the first episode. When DJ went upstairs  and she’s talking aloud to her baby while the monitor is on and her family can hear her sadness and fear about raising 3 kids all alone. I cried. I’ve been there holding newborn Goldie at 3 in the morning confiding in her how scared I was, that I didn’t know if I could do it alone, that I was sorry she was born into a broken family. It struck a cord in me and I found myself rooting for DJ all over again, just like I did as a kid. Remember when DJ thought she had a round face and boys didn’t like her?  I thought she was so pretty and knew she’d get a boyfriend (insert Steve). I’m still rooting for you Donna Jo Tanner!

2. I’m headed to New York next week to meet up with Jenna for a project. We’ve talked about doing our first periscope while we’re together. We should probably figure out some topics to discuss first so we don’t just stare blank into the camera or laugh at each other… Are you into periscope? 3. I’m super excited to tell you about a new BB cream I bought last week. You guys, it’s incredible. So lightweight I’ve been wearing in on it’s own without foundation or powder, just this under eye magic(in shade 1) and eye set. Try it! I bought it in Medium No.2
