Toning Up In My Nike Free RN Flyknit

Getting back in shape is my goal for the rest of 2017! I started working out again last week as I talked about in THIS POST. Since then I’ve worked out a few more times and have felt good enough to begin stairs and jogging. Do you remember this STAIR WORKOUT post wearing Nike? Slowly, I will get back my endurance. For now I am doing 1-2 miles of a jog/walk and 3 rounds of stairs. My goal by end of summer is 3 miles of jogging(without a walk break) and 10 rounds of stairs. If your’e in San Diego, join me! I’ve thought about starting a run/stair club in the mornings. Let me know if you’re interested!

I love to jog at the beach. The impact is easier on my knees (I have an old injury from a marathon I did years ago) and the view is a distraction that allows me to jog longer than I would on a treadmill. My shoe of choice right now is the Nike Free RN Flyknit. The outer sole is incredibly flexible and the seamless Flyknit wraps around my foot for the ultimate support! What I love most about a new pair of Nike Free’s is that I don’t have the adjustment period I get with other running shoes. Usually I have to wear running shoes several times before my feet adjust to them. I’ve never had that experience with a pair of Flyknits.

Nike has so many incredible items right now! Check out my top picks below:

BRAS-  LIMITLESS | FIERCE REFLECTIVE | CLASSIC COOLING

TOPS- DRY KNIT TANK | DRY CITY

BOTTOMS- EPIC LUX | ZONAL STRENGTH | DRY TEMPO

  1. You look amazing! I would love to know what socks you wear while running. I have a hard time finding no-shows that stay in place on a run!

  2. I’m actually getting knee surgery this summer, but once I’ve recovered a bit, I would LOVE to do a morning run/stairs group. I’m on Coronado Island, so not too far.

  3. I love running at the beach! I would love to join a running group. Btw you look awesome! Congrats on your little bundle of joy.
