What To Pack In Your Hospital bag

My hospital bag is finally packed! Woo, I just want to meet my baby girl. However, the other night I found myself on youTube watching swaddling tutorials and sleep training videos as a refresher course. Ended up falling asleep in tears, it made me so nervous. I mean it’s been SEVEN years since I’ve had a newborn. Eek, I’m honestly a little scared.

So, after packing a hospital bag for my other 3 babies and some added research, my hospital bag is packed for baby girl #4. I have never stayed longer than the required 24 hours, I’d much rather come home to recover. Just incase, I pack a few extras to be prepared for a longer stay.

I’ll say it again, the BEST travel/weekend/gym/hospital/life bag is my MZ Wallace (large)

I told you about this COMPRESSION BAND in my BABY REGISTRY POST. I will be putting it on 24 hours after delivery.

I will also be wearing my COMPRESSION LEGGINGS and my COZY SWEATSHIRT home from the hospital along with my newest pair of SLIDES I bought from my own post HERE, haha.

Pack your own BLANKET. This is my favorite. It folds up super compact and easy to take anywhere, including the movies.

My #1 PAJAMA SET. Ever!

Going to the hospital is similar to summer camp. Pack your FLIP FLOPS for the shower.

Labor can be long. With Avery it lasted over 19 hours. Wish I had a PORTABLE SPEAKER back then to drown out the sound of the machines.

Can’t leave the hospital without a CAR SEAT.

My AVEDA TRIO is packed incase I feel like washing my hair. Sometimes clean hair after you deliver can help you feel almost human again.:) Read more about it HERE!

Also packed: TINTED MOISTURIZER & MASCARA (new discovery and I LOVE)

I can’t live without moisture on my LIPS.

Dry skin makes me cringe. I lather by body in this KOPARI melt.

My absolute favorite HAIR BRUSH

I swear by this DEODORANT and make sure you pack your TOOTHBRUSH & TOOTHPASTE.

I tend to not eat in the hospital when they want me to.  So I packed 3 of my favorite PROTEIN BARS for when I get hungry.

Do not forget your PHONE CHARGER!! The longer the cord, the better. You never know how far away the outlet may be.

Have a great day everyone!

  1. Nice list! You do not have a camera listed as an item in your bag. Is this because you will be having a birth photographer?

    • Yes, my photographer will come after I deliver and take photos for me.
