How to Wear Ruffles

I’m sure you noticed the massive ruffle sleeve trend happening right now. You either LOVE it or HATE it. You can’t accept the trend half-way. You have to wear these ruffles with confidence and know how to wear them. Go all in or stay completely away. I’ve definitely jumped on the ruffle train and can’t seem to get enough. Big or small– ruffles are here to stay. Ruffles are seen everywhere, church, lunch dates, night clubs, restaurants, first dates, bars, coffee shops, gyms.  You can wear them whenever you feel the need. Ruffles made the off the shoulder movement extra special in my opinion.

I was walking through Bloomingdale’s and saw this amazing PARKER RUFFLE TOP. It was love at first sight. I know ruffles can be a bit overwhelming so dress down the rest of your outfit. I went with neutral sandals and denim. The top will stand out and be the statement piece of your outfit. Balance is key when wearing ruffles. Ruffles are definitely feminine/girly so pair them with an edgier piece to mix up your outfit a bit. Wear distressed jeans or cut off shorts. Add a rustic shoe or stick with neutrals. Structured Ruffles are key. Your ruffles are definitely going to have the spotlight. Make sure your ruffles are ironed and standing up right. No limp or wrinkly ruffles allowed!

Since ruffles are acceptable everywhere this is where I wear mine.
