| Chicago |

While Jenna was in San Francisco, I was in Chicago with my girlfriends. Three days of sightseeing, eating, laughing and supporting my friends as they ran the Chicago marathon! Love my girlfriends in a BIG way. This was my second time visiting this super clean city and I loved it even more second time around.IMG_8414

EAT |

XOCO– the chips and guacamole and the churro were the real winners of this meal.

Fred’s at Barney’s– we ordered a lot. Way more than we could eat. Don’t miss out on the homemade quinoa granola/yogurt plate or the parmesan truffle fries!

Eataly– Hands down THE coolest grocery/food court I’ve ever seen. Owned by Mario Batali, this place is incredible. It a Chicago must see/smell/taste/experience!

The Bongo Room– I’ve spent a lot of time reminiscing about my meal here. It was really incredible. Highlights: White Chocolate and Caramel Pretzel Pancakes (my mouth watered typing that, no lie), Vanilla Brioche French Toast and the Tuna and Caper Club. Jenesey ordered the tuna sandwich. Seriously, it was amazing! Artichoke hearts, pickles, and egg. Sounds sketchy but next time I go, I’m ordering it!

Lou Malnati’s– deep dish pizza and the Matnati’s salad (make sure you like garlic and lots of it)IMG_8520-2

| What To Do |

Architecture Boat Tour– this was my favorite touristy thing we did. Loved being on the water learning about such a historic city from a guide who oozed Chicago pride. Such a great way to see the city in just a hour!

Skydeck at Willis (former Sears) Tower– head 103 stories up to the tallest building in America and see the view! If you’re feeling brave make sure and get your picture taken in the glass box. Tip:on a busy day, it’s well worth the $40 to get the express pass. You will cut your tour time in half!

The Bean– head to Millennium Park and take your picture next the infamous Bean. the reflection of Chicago’s skyline is beautiful. Close by is Crown Fountain. 50 ft. glass block towers/fountains with images of local Chicago citizens. I thought it was really cool.IMG_8485Lisa- Blazer(30% off) | Tee | Denim | Studded Booties | Cross-body Bag | Glasses | Curlstick

Shop- The Magnificent Mile. We actually didn’t spend much time shopping this trip. We had too much food to devour. However, the Magnificent Mile is a must-stop shopping destination.

Walk- We may have used a Uber driver a few too many times but we walked and walked and walked. I think it’s the best way to get a feel for what a city has to offer.

  1. Can I ask what jeans Maury is wearing in the first pic? I’ve been wanting some just that style!
