#paleo snacks

  1. 1.I LOVE the SIMPLE SQUARES bar. Paleo friendly and so good. They get rid of my sweet tooth because they have a sweetness about them. If you don’t love coconut you can try the other flavors.

2. I have an Almond Milk & Butter shake every single day. Usually after my workout.

almond milk
almond butter
1/2 banana
2 handfuls of spinach
2 scoops protein powder

3. I just ordered a box of these BARS. Paleo friendly and the reviews are the best I’ve seen. I ordered the chocolate Sea Salt. Yum.

4. Okay the best PALEO SNACK KIT with a huge variety. If you are newish to paleo (like me) you probably want to taste everything to see what you like the most. This gives you a great idea at some of the snacks you can have. I like to make most of my food but to get through busy days, I have to have snacks packed!

5. Find ways to pre-make your snacks at home for you and your family. This paleo snack book has been great. I’m diving into it this weekend. I can’t wait to make the power protein balls. Reviews say that kids love them too. Tons of ideas in that book.

6. I’ve been eating a lot of homemade guacamole with cut up veggies. Trader Joes also has a guacamole I keep on hand. Read the back label and make sure it’s all clean ingredients.

  • 3 medium avocados or 4 small ones;
  • 1 firm tomato, finely diced;
  • 1/2 white onion;
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro;
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon or lime juice;
  • 2 TBS. pico de gallo
  • Optional salt and pepper to taste.
  • 7. 100 calorie pack – NUTS great snack. I have to limit these or I can literally eat an entire bag so I stick with the 100 calorie bag options.
  • 8. I get dried fruit at Trader Joes. Mangos, apples, berries, bananas. SO GOOD!!

Hope this helps.

xx
