I went through a solid 6 year phase only watching reality television. To me it was mindless easy entertainment I could watch while on my computer, working out or trying to fall asleep. I would watch Teen Mom to make me feel better about my situation, because really when someone tries to comfort you with the popular phrase “it could always be worse” it actually felt true watching that show.
I’ve been a Real Housewives ( of almost any city) fan since Vicki Gunvalson first introduced me to the gates of Coto de Caza 10 years ago. When I lived in Orange County I would see them all over the place. The best was seeing Gretchen and Slade at BCBG at Fashion Island. You guys..! She was throwing the biggest fit because she didn’t have a receipt to return clothes without tags and they wouldn’t do it. She said more than once “are you sure you can’t do it?” With Slade adding “tell them who you are”. Also, she was wearing 6 inch white pumps with a schoolgirl skirt. Amazing. Dallas is the latest city added to the RH franchise and I just can’t get into it. They lost me the first 15 minutes of episode 1 talking about bodily functions. If you know me, you know I get so uncomfortable with bathroom humor. I don’t find anything funny about discussing what comes out of your body. It makes me want to dry heave. So sorry Dallas, you lost me.
You know what I just discovered and it makes me laugh harder than any other show? Barley Famous. Oh my gosh..it’s hilarious! Erin and Sarah Foster (David Fosters daughters) poke fun at their lives through a semi-scripted reality show. It’s on VH-1 and the second season starts soon. I watched the first season on my phone yesterday. I was glued to it. Watch it and get back to me.

Love this post! I’m such a fan of reality shows and my husband thinks it’s such dumb entertainment. I just can’t stop though! I hope they can get Dallas on track with some new cast members or something better. Love your site, insta and styling!

Totally agree about Dallas – also…is it just me, or does Dallas feel like a “test” show they shot in OC in 2001? It feels so dated…
I am loving your Housewife commentary! I have been watching foreverrrr as well but I think I may have to skip out on Dallas! I feel you! Such a cute outfit!!
Thanks for the support. I watched Andy Cohen on periscope the other day and prob 80% of the comments that came through were all bummed about the Dallas cast. It’s not just us;)
