Push Present

If you’re a mom, I’m sure you’ve heard the term push present. The idea is you’re gifted a special gift after giving birth. Super cool, right? With my first three daughters I was never given this type of gift (I actually had never heard of it until I was pregnant with Goldie). I’m pretty low maintenance after delivery. I go home 24 hours later, I don’t have anyone come help, I don’t play the ‘I just had a baby’ card to avoid housework, errands, etc. In fact, I was at Trader Joe’s 26 hours after I delivered Ozzy. Alone, despite Jeff’s request for me to stay home. I’ll tell you that story another time.. haha Bottom line,  I think I am just so excited to feel like myself again!

A couple weeks ago I received the nicest and most unexpected gift!  A rose gold and diamond ring from Simon G. You may remember I joined Marie Claire Magazine a couple years ago on a tour of Simon G. After watching the process to create fine jewelry in their L.A facility I became a huge fan of this line. I had no idea until that day the time and skill it takes to complete each piece. It’s truly an art!

This ring is so gorgeous. You know I collect rings and ofter wear them stacked on each finger. This rose gold ring is a statement piece on it’s own! The design is so unique and 100% my style. I’ve worn it every day since I received my first “push present” and you’ve probably noticed it in my recent outfit posts. Thank you to Simon G. for making me this beautiful ring!
