PROTEIN FUDGE

Good Morning! If you follow my personal Instagram, you saw me make protein fudge in the new Instagram story feature over the weekend. This is a recipe I learned while living in Arizona from my then neighbor, Heidi Powell. This recipe is SO simple and great to have on hand. Plus, it’s only 4 ingredients, that’s it!

INGREDIENTS

1 16 oz Jar Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
1 1/4 Cup Natural Honey
2 scoops 100% Natural Whey Chocolate Protein Powder
3 Cups Gluten-Free Oats

DIRECTIONS

Heat peanut butter in the microwave for 90 seconds.
Stir in honey.
Mix in protein powder.
Combine oats with peanut butter mixture.
Spread evenly in 9×13″ pan, and refrigerate for at least an hour, or freeze. I prefer frozen.
Cut into 1 1/2″ squares, and enjoy!

Tip: if you want to add a little something to these, sprinkle with just a touch of sea salt. AMAZING!

Each 1 1/2″ fudge square has: 110 calories, 5 grams of fat, 12.5 grams of carbs, 1.1 grams of fiber, and 5.5 grams of protein.Lisa Allen of LunchPails and Lipstick making protein fudge using protein powder, peanut butter, honey and oats in her own kitchen in California
