MORNING SKIN ROUTINE
Lots of you have asked about my skin care regimen; let’s start with my morning routine.
After the obvious (alarm, quick scrolling, and now I’m adding in some daily goals/journaling) I turn on my morning playlist (bottom of post). I switch it up often but love having something upbeat to get us going! Sometimes we even have a little dance party in the kitchen while I drink my morning tea and swallow my vitamins. Remember to journal 2 goals every morning! 2 goals for the day and two that you want to happen this year. Say them out loud too!!
*I throw on my workout clothes and get my 1 liter of water ready to go. While the kids are getting dressed I wash my face and apply this Powerful-Strenth Line-Reducing Concentrate from Kiehl’s to my face and neck. I’ve loved this product and love the creamy texture. Vitamin C is KEY for skin health. GINGERBREAD PROTEIN BALLS
1 1/2 cups rolled oats (gluten-free for me!) ½ cup (about 2 scoops) vanilla protein powder
½ cup smooth organic peanut butter (or the nut butter of your choice)1 T. chia seeds1 ½ t. dried ginger¼ t. cinnamon¼ t. nutmeg¼ t. sea salt1 t. vanilla (again, GF)
3 T. raw honey (which I recently found at Costco!)⅓ cup mini choc chips
2-4 T. liquid (almond milk, water, etc…)
I always feel safe and protected when I leave the house in the morning with this product. If I had only two things in life I’d definitely decide to bring my Vitamin C and sunscreen.
