Michael Stars & Marriage & Mother’s Day #MMM

I remember the first shirt I bought from Michael Stars. It was early 2000’s, pink with dolman sleeves and had silver threading throughout to give it some shine. I wore that top a lot, mainly because it was super soft and also because it was so loose I could wear it while pregnant with Avery. I just fell in love with Michael Stars all over again after finding this white gauze top. It can be worn off or on your shoulders and it’s quickly become a favorite of mine.

I came across this article on maintaining your marriage after kids. I love the relationship advice given by Cup of Jo. Her ideas are simple and sometimes obvious, but I love reading them for inspiration and new ideas. My favorite from this article is the reminder to thank each other. Seems simple right? I think the problem is that most of us get caught up in ourselves and the kids that we probably don’t notice all the little (or big) things our spouses are doing. I think everyone likes to feel appreciated. I do. Also her idea on day sex is pretty great too;)

Like I said on Instagram, gifts are not a love language of mine. However, it’s Mother’s Day so I’d be pretty stoked to have this handbag or these cage sandals or these sunglasses and I think every woman should have one of these necklaces. I love mine. Ahh, Mother’s day is pretty great!
