California Forever

It was two years ago yesterday we moved to California on a whim. That faith based decision has provided a life I dreamed of. We live with in minutes of the ocean. The kids are happy. We have Jeff and Biggie who love us as much as we love them (well..most days Biggie). That move has also provided endless opportunities for lunchpails. I felt so strongly that moving to California was best for my family. That honest desire burned in me for a few years and I finally just went for it. Scared and unsure, just knowing I HAD to try it or I’d live with regret.

Dream BIG. Challenge yourself. It may prove to be the best decision you’ll ever make.

  1. This couldn’t have been read at a better time. The hubby and I are currently contemplating keeping what is safe and comfortable or taking the leap to experience something totally different..a dream we have talked about for years. I just sent him a screen shot of this. Signs are everywhere it seems.

    • That’s so nice to hear. I say go for it! I thought of what the worst case scenario would be (having to move back to AZ) and knew if I took the risk the reward could be great or I’d have to go back to my comfort zone, but at least I would have tried and gave it my all. Best of luck! XXO-Lisa

  4. Love this! Needed to read this post this morning. I am in the same position, have been dreaming of leaving Connecticut for California and am searching tirelessly for a new career out there. Hope to be SoCal soon and as happy as you and your family are! xoxo
