1. Last night Poppy sang the national anthem with her school honor choir at the Padres game here in San Diego. It was the most adorable thing. I know I’ve said this before, but I was never as brave and confident as my girls are. I took private voice lessons for 5 years as a kid and I still sing monotone. My recitals were terrifying for me, and the audience.

2. The Friends and Family sale at Saks has me wanting about 5 pair of shoes including these gladiators, these platforms, these lace-up flats, and these clogs. I mean, 30% off Saks is really really good!

3. You guys, I have the worst cowlick on top of my head. The shorter my hair gets, the more obvious this nuisance becomes. Doesn’t matter which side I part my hair or if it’s clean or dirty. When I’m with Arielle (the photographer who takes my photos) she has to help me tame it and actually asked me during this shoot “does that thing hurt?” haha!
